While always gravitating to the arts and design, Ninoosh Askari, the sole designer for NINOOSH™, put aside her artistic aspirations to pursue a more academic one. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCLA in 1994, and continued, to graduate Cum Laude from UCLA's School of Dentistry in 1998. After practicing different aspects of General Dentistry for many years, Ninoosh finally addressed her innate desire to create, and returned to the world of design on a full time basis in 2006.

Today, using all of her travels and experiences around the world, and forever being influenced by the rich and abundant colors, motifs, and textures from her birthplace of Iran, Ninoosh has been inspired to create a line that amalgamates the old and the new, the traditional and the unconventional, and the understated with the over the top.
